This policy explains what BingBillboard ("we", "us") collects on bingbillboard.com, why, and the choices you have. BingBillboard is run by Slabaugh LLC.

What we collect

  • What you give us in our forms. For the free Billboard Check: your business name, town and state, business type, website, your name, your email and, if you give it, your phone. For the contact form: your name, email, business name and phone if you give them, topic and message.
  • Your email choice. Whether you ticked the box to get tips and offers by email. The box is never ticked for you.
  • Basic technical data. Like most websites, our host may log your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to keep the site running and secure.
  • Your approximate town. To suggest your town in the free check form, our host works out your approximate city and state from your IP address. We don't store it, and it isn't sent with the form unless you pick it.
  • Cookies and similar tools, only if you say yes. See "Cookies and ads" below.

We don't ask for payment details on this website.

How we use it

  • To run your free Billboard Check and email you your report.
  • To answer messages you send us.
  • If you opted in, to send you tips and offers by email. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and we honor it promptly.
  • If you allowed cookies, to measure visits and to show you BingBillboard ads on other sites and apps.
  • To keep the site secure and stop spam.

Cookies and ads

Right now this site uses no ad or analytics cookies. If we add tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising or Meta to count visits and to show our ads to people who've visited the site (often called remarketing), they'll use cookies or similar technology, and we'll list them here. None of them load until you choose "That's fine" in the cookie bar. You can change your mind any time with "Cookie choices" at the bottom of every page. You can also control ad personalization in your Google, Microsoft and Meta account settings, and through your browser.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for others to market to you. We share it only with service providers that help us run BingBillboard, under their own privacy terms:

  • Our website host, Vercel
  • Our form service, Web3Forms
  • The service we use to send email
  • The ad and analytics tools above, only if you allowed cookies

We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.

How long we keep it

We keep check requests and messages for 24 months, and email subscribers until they unsubscribe, unless the law requires us to keep something longer.

Your choices and rights

  • Unsubscribe from our emails with the link in any email, or by contacting us.
  • Ask us what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it, by contacting us below. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under state privacy laws; we'll respond as those laws require.
  • Say no to cookies in the cookie bar, or change your choice later.

Children

BingBillboard is for businesses. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards, but no website or email can be perfectly secure.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
